I believe in the past they have had people there you can call and schedule to help with taxes, but they are not there all the time and I'm not sure when /if they will be there this year. They do have all the tax papers and books available to do your taxes yourself. If you call the main # they will be able to tell you.

Good afternoon! The Gallatin Public Library of Sumner County hosts trained AARP volunteers who provide free help to everyone who schedules an appointment for assistance with their taxes. The AARP are here Tuesdays only during tax season. The 2019 tax season dates are from Tuesday, February 4, 2020 to Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Appointments are first come, first served. If no appointments are currently available, check back with us. Cancellations sometimes occur. For appointment availability, call (615) 452-1722. We carry hard copies of IRS Instructions & Booklets for Forms 1040 & 1040-SR. These are found on your immediate left as you enter the Fiction section of the 1st floor. Thank you for your interest!
