I wouldn't hesitate to take a six year old to Slaughterhouse. It seems as if the experience is catered to each group. I'm not sure about children's rates, but I would make sure to order my tickets online and reserve my time slot, and as soon as you get there, go inside and pick up your tickets and then go stand in line. They have the friendliest staff that I have never met, and if you have any concerns, you can let them know ahead of time. Good luck!
There have been plenty of small children that have been through and the actors are generally sensitive towards the little ones and will not traumatize them.
