As far as Forest Green's response goes, it's not Micro Center's fault when that happens. Sometimes the parts that fail just cost much more to order from a parts vendor than buying a new computer. Manufacturers like HP, etc don't like keeping old parts in cycle. They want you to buy a new computer instead sadly. It's not feasible to actually fix a computer part rather than replace it. You can't know if your "fix" won't mess up something else a week later.
