I have had great experiences there, personally.
Service is a pain to use. Happy with the sales.
Like these guys are saying they are great with sales but not service
For sales, yes, they are awesome. Service, not so much. I've had 2 bad experiences there. Car smoking and bucking after they serviced it for a recall and another time they forgot to replace a bolt. I'd rather the mechanics in their service department not touch my car again. Not even for an oil change. I can't trust that they know what they're doing.
For service I've never had a problem. Collision center is a whole other topic though and not recommended. Sales wise Apple Honda and Subaru were great to deal with and not hassling.
Absolutely not. Was a complete waste of time for the drive there.
I would sooner drive cross country than get my vehicle serviced here. They're rude and honestly don't do great work. My sales experience was rough but not terrible... The salesperson was newer I guess so mistakes were made. They do keep great stock and I would buy again from them.
Two months to get an appt to fix an air bag recall.lancaster subaru does it in 2 weeks. Will not buy another car there. I do like the service writers especially Nina.
Last year I purchased a used Forester privately and took it to Apple Subaru for extensive repairs. I was very happy with how I was treated, the price, and the car runs very nicely now. I also purchased a used Forester from Tom Kerns in sales. Again, I was very happy with how I was treated, the price, and some after sales repairs needed to the AC. Nina and Mecala in service and Tom in sales have been a great team for me. Everybody has different expectations and that colors their experience. Some people swear by a certain repair shop. Others swear at them. My experience was very positive. I also had to use Apple Collision and again was very happy with how I was treated. I received weekly phone calls updating me on the progress on my car. The repair was well done and I would go there again if needed (hope not). I usually take cars to private repair shops, but have been burned by some of them. Apple Subaru of York has been a good place for me. Hopefully for you too.
No problem with Sales from both the Honda and the Subaru sides. I use a mechanic/ garage that I have trusted for years for my work, so I do not go to their Service Center. Previous experiences with OTHER Dealer Service Centers (NOT Apple, never used them) has always made me feel very untrusting of their work and their word. And they almost always try to sell additional, unnecessary work. Ive had 2 experiences with the collision center and no issues, but they were not very involved repairs.
