Where do I begin? First, I never received a reminder that I was due for my Pap b because they switched to Wellspan. So when I called I made an appointment.... Couldn't get me in for 3 months! Take off work an hour early to get to the appointment. Wait 20 minutes and 5 people that came in after me already were seen. I go to the receptionist and ask what's going on. She THEN informs me that the doctor is 40 MINUTES BEHIND!! SERIOUSLY?? Definitely not waiting for an hour after my appointment time on a Friday! Rescheduled AGAIN.... And still over a month out! Used to love WHCG but it's a joke now that they are Wellspan!

I switched over because my best friend told me about the place . My first appointment went well , she was great a little bit rough but she was nice , she’s a pcos specialist. I had a miscarriage back in may and I kept calling them to say “ hey I’m pretty sure i lost the baby “ they told me to just wait for my appointment in 3 weeks . So i did . they where so lost about my miscarriage because no one wrote anything in my notes. After seeing the sonographer ( she was very sweet ) I had to see a doctor i believe her name was Amanda and her nurse can’t remember her name had me take a pee pregnancy test and then came in 15 mins after the test was taken. After the doctor came she told me it was a chemical pregnancy and the next time i become pregnant to let them know and get some blood work done and i did , went in yesterday and unfortunately there was no heart beat . I was told to come back next week and they would discuss my options ( mind you the sonographer is telling me all this plus other things ) he ( sonographer) offered me to get my hcg levels done then said “ it wouldn’t do you any good because there’s no heartbeat “ so why even offer ?!! I couldn’t even go to my follow up appointment . They wouldn’t let me talk to a doctor . They told me to just wait for next week . I have so many questions and yet no one wants to help or answer my questions just “if you start bleeding go to the ER , it might be a miscarriage “ I’m over this place I was told I was going to get help and yet no one is helping me.

Was told that they took my insurance to find out from my insurance statements it was out of network, I did not appreciate being lied to. Had to call in to the office multiple times to ask for authorization of full benefits, never received any help even though I am already considered full term, high risk, and have an ultrasound scheduled. Made me sign a paper stating that I understood I had to make out of network payments almost two months after I’ve already been using this insurance with them, and they only flagged it because I called in with this issue, instead of them actually doing their job at first. Without signing the paper, they were going to cancel all my appointments even with me being full term. Even without this issue, it felt like I was talked down upon and given a hard time at appointments. I hardly ever met with a doctor and did not feel comfortable at all.

I called to schedule an appointment here for a follow up in the beginning of the month. The lady on the phone told me there were no available appointments until over 2 months later so I said “that’s fine I’ll wait”. She then said “well actually, we can squeeze you in on Monday the 7th in the morning”. I clarified this at least twice during the call to make sure that I had the right date and time, I then notified my boss that I would need time off on that day. When I showed up on Monday for my appointment the lady at the desk looked confused and asked for my name and number, and proceeded to tell me that my appointment is on Tuesday the 22nd. This was extremely frustrating, as I am 100% sure that they told me Monday the 7th on the phone and I was sure to confirm it. The “date” of my actual appointment isn’t even on the same day of the week; not to mention I missed work just for them to tell me that they told me the wrong date. I cannot speak on how good the doctors are or aren’t because I was a new patient, but I can say that scheduling problems like this should not be happening.
