Depends on the Post. Each is different across the state. If you have a father or grandfather that served, you could be a member of the Sons of the American Legion. Or you join socially. Contact the Post directly.

In order to join the American Legion you must be a veteran however there is a part of the American Legion known as Sons of the American Legion to join you must have a relative father, grandfather, uncle ECT.. To join
