How do I find a photo of a specific soldier in WWI? I have tried the Army Heritage War College site, and no luck.

The U.S. Army Heritage War College has a library on site. You could also try the National Archives and Records Administration office in College Park, Maryland.

Not a lot of the collection of the Army Heritage Center is available digitally yet, so it's no surprise you can't find the photo online, even if it were available in their collection. You may want to try calling them or visiting the facility if you live close enough to it.

Possibly a local historical society in the soldier's home town, or the State Historical society Iconography collection. Looking for a needle in a haystack.
