Does this place get very crowded after a Yankees game? I'm thinking about stopping off and am wondering if that's a terrible time.

Yeah that place is no where near Yankee stadium.

It is far from Yankee Stadium...even in a car. Place is only busy during weekdays lunch time.

Depending on the time of the day you should be ok. We went at around 11:00am when they open on a Saturday and it wasn't crazy. If it's a 1:00 game, you should be ok

Its no where near yankee stadium, and you really need a car to reach it so i would think not, but its popular in general so keep that in mind
