Why can’t I wear a knit hat in here? I just got asked to take mine off because the bouncer said the owner doesn’t like it. It’s a hat who the hell cares.

I had the exact same experience. The owner didn't want me parking my motorcycle near the bar and asked me to changey shirt. It was a summer Sunday at 3 in the afternoon and I am a tattooless professional. Owner has issues.

Probably because of the Great Knit Hat Riots of 2012 where a gang of hoodless hoodlums attacked a party clown in the parking lot. So when the bouncer says no, you say "okay, yes sir, thank you" or else you'll end up a clown
