Hello Carla, The Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library organization accepts donations of books in good condition, CDs, DVDs, audio-tapes, puzzles, and games. If possible, deliveries to the Library should be made between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Please call ahead so that the volunteers can be prepared to accept the donation, (914) 813-3705. Small donations may be left in the bins in the lobby. Please be considerate of the volunteers who handle the books for the Friends’ Book Sales and Book Store! Donations should not be brought in trash bags, as the materials get damaged. Please do not leave boxes so heavy that the volunteers can’t lift them. The Friends can not accept damaged books or out of date textbooks. Thanks!
