My son just got a hand me down electric guitar and wants to take it on an airplane. Is there a hard travel case for guitars?

We have a soft case. I didn't think they would let him carry it on.

Yes but, if you carry the guitar on board, you can use a gig bag. A hard case is if you are going to check it in
