I would at least a day in advance. From my understanding (i could be wrong), those delicious cheesecakes are factory made and kept frozen at the restaurants until needed. So they should have some in stock.
If you want to make sure that they absolutely have what you want, I would call *at least* two days in advance, add a day if you have any *specials* or individualized things you want done to/for your cheesecake. To make sure there are no errors, I write down the date/time/and the name of the person who is helping me. Further, I generally let the person know that I wrote down their name by thanking them for their assistance. This way, in the unfortunate event that there's a problem, you have all of the information you need to back up your order. Additionally, I like to take a quick minute the next day and thank the server and baking staff for a job well done. It's a small gesture but it's always appreciated. 😊
