I was under the impression that if you purchased a part from Autozone an employee would install said part. The part I'm reference is a head lamp/light bulb. Is that no longer the case?

It depends on how complicated the part replacement is. If they have to take off the bumper to replace the headlight, they are not allowed to. One of my cars has a bracket that holds the battery in - they are not allowed to remove that bracket. If it's a simple replacement, then they will install the part.

That is no longer possible some new cars requiring fender removal to replace bulbs. ???? Engineers. Ha
