They will do the tour but it has to be schuduled and its still free
The. 🏠 is beautiful. But i dont think they do tours inside. They have info plaques out front....the houses across the street as well. Very informative but from the other responses i guess u can. But i could just imagine the wear and tear of it. I went with a group of 50+ could u imagine that tour 😕
They do do tours of the KING home. However, they fill quickly. It is best to go early and sign up with a ranger for the tour. They are also free.
Tours of 15, 2-4pm.
There are scheduled times to see the house. Go to the visitor center to register to see the house. Make sure you go there when they open at 9 or you may miss your chance of being able to register to see Dr. King's birth home.
Tours are available on the hour, but limited to groups of around 16. Go to the visitors center at the national park historic site and put your name down for the next available slot, which may be hours away. Then, return 30 min before that slot to pick up your tickets or else they will be given away to standbys.
Yes You can sign up at the historic site
I am not sure.
Yes
You can walk to, but not enter Dr. King's house on your own. If you sign up for a tour at the National Historic site building, my understanding is that you can enter the home. I believe it's scheduled, but i don't know what the schedule is.
