I've been working on a project at one of my rental properties and I paid cash thay was over $200. I can't even return anything that I don't need or exchange for store credit to buy other things. Since when was a receipt mandatory to exchange things?

I returned thing with out and got store credit

Sign in email for receipt when you purchase then no worry about lost receipt. Show email receipt to return. If it is lost anyway, talk to customer service, may help you.

If you use cash you need a receipt in today's world. With credit you can return just with a card.
