U have to reserve tickets online for admission
Virginia Lee said it best. You can walk in and get a ticket. Enjoy!
Reservation is recommended for sure. If it's not busy, you really don't need one. However, making a reservation is free and easy.
Yes you must go online and make a reservation. Tickets are free but they try and help control the high foot traffic. So busy! To say it's a popular museum is a vast understatement. You will still wait outside for a while even with a reservation but it's an amazing museum. Calling them is typically a 15 minute hold time because they are constantly receiving calls.
No, you you can walk in. Its free with a suggested donation of $15 per person.
Security is tight but fairly expedient.
Reservation are a must to ensure you get a spot. But you will still have to go thru security that is the long line you see coming out the door. So best away to avoid lines is to pick a down day. Which I'm not sure what they are as its still new.
No. At least not this week...1/11/18. No crowds, no lines, just go in and get your ticket.
There were long lines on the days we attended, but I don't know how often that happens. Best to go online and reserve your free tickets.
