you can do everything online but it's better to lease meet the first time in person you can call and schedule an appointment in some cases you can actually do a walk in and sign in but by making an appointment you'll be see earlier

You can apply online. I have found that the personnel at Social Security recommend you make an appointment and come in for most needs to be sure everything is in order.
