There are cottages close to the pool area (right next to it) and others further away. A booking agent will be able to assist you in finding a location close to the pool.
At least half mile as the closest and then further depend on where house or cottage located. Hope this helps.
As right now just some areas of the retail village are complete and open to the public the resort is still under construction and not open yet nor has a final rendering been released.
