The last info I had was, Yes, you can purchase a ticket to the waterpark without staying at the resort. But just call to verify. Right now they are having a special where if you are staying at the resort or cottages you have free access to the water park. But normally, it is not included with your stay, and you have to purchase tickets to the water park.
I don't see how they could because you will need a key card to access the area so no.
