Caring hands is the least expensive vet I've been to. I don't think they give anyone discounts. And if you're still going to use them as your vet, any medication even just heartworm prevention get a written prescription. I told the vet I'd buy my meds from 800 PET MEDS and the vet tech wrote it down on paper. I placed my ordered from 800 PET MEDS I got a phone call saying that my vet refused their phone request and doesn't have a fax machine. I had to have the script mailed to me then I mailed it to PET MEDS they shipped overnight bc of the problem. The tech knew I needed the script. But other than that I really liked to vet and my dog was happy.
