We loved the care and pricing we received from the staff. Everyone was very helpful and cared about our cat’s comfortability. In the past, we felt other vets did not prioritize our cat’s health past the specific reason we came in, but we did not feel that at all at The Pet Mechanic. Dr. Richard was very kind and professional, he answered all of our concerns and helped us with proactive healthcare options for our cat. We liked the technician a lot as well. Our cat is very anxious and they were very understanding and kind to Walter. It was easy to make an appointment and we felt the prices were very reasonable compared to other clinics nearby. They also did not try to upsell us, as many other places have done in the past. We will definitely be back and we are happy to have established this location as our primary veterinarian! I’ve been going to The Pet Mechanic for the past seven years with my cats. Every email I send is returned super quickly with solid information and understanding, the vets I’ve had have always taken really great care of my boys and have always provided me options for care. They seem to really love animals and rich understanding of the relationship we have to these nonhumans who allow us to live in their homes.

The staff is so gentle and caring towards our dog, Piper who has mild fear aggression and is over-all a fearful dog. It makes the veterinary experience a lot easier knowing we can trust the staff to take care of Piper and is knowledgeable in knowing she needs to be handled with a soft and gentle approach. The entire team at this location is incredible! My big baby girl received gentle treatment from the vet & techs, I experienced excellent communication at every level, and was very impressed by thoughtful touches like having a jar of peanut butter on hand to distract pups who aren't happy about being poked, prodded, or clipped. I'll be back!

You are absolutely welcome to keep your little one company in our exam rooms as long as you are masked.
Peter, Our policy with Covid-19 restrictions is that we allow for two clients per patient to wait in the lobby during the appointment. We try to restrict the total number of clients inside to four at any given time. Take Care, Alex
Not currently offering telemedicine, but they are doing socially distant visits. You can drop your pet off, fill out a form and they'll phone you when they're ready for pickup.
Not sure, but they're great & some of least expensive around.
The Pet Mechanic does do walk in appointments. Call them ahead of time to see if they can see your pet. If not, you may have to take him/her to VSEC on Front St.
No we do not. We recommend trying things such as feliway or soft paws though and can put the soft paws on for you.
