No it does not. Also, you may want to rethink getting your bettas, or any fish, from Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart needs to train their employees on humane practices when it comes to their fish. Every Wal-Mart I've been to that has fish has them over crowded in their tanks with majority of them sick and dying. If one fish is sick, the rest of the fish in that tank are more than likely going to be infected too. And if you bring home a sick fish and put it into a healthy tank you're going to have problems. The bettas are kept in tiny plastic cups with no filtration or aeration system so majority of them die before being bought. NO FISH CAN LIVE LIKE THAT. Contrary to what most people think bettas do not like to live in small tanks. Males need to be kept alone yes, but not in a tiny cup. I've posted pictures of the sick and dying fish from Wal-Mart and it's absolutely heartbreaking. But of course money comes before the proper treatment of the animals.
