Yes 12 year olds can volunteer with supervision/adults. You need to register as their volunteer and take a session before you can volunteer. They will explain the safely (of animal First) and will walk you thru the facility. People here are Super nice so it will be a great experience. I moved to Mesa so I can't visit them regularly but its a great place. Here is the last email I received from them which states its no more public but volunteers are welcomed. Effective today ABC will no longer be open to the public. Our adoption has been updated to reflect this change, adoption visits will be scheduled by appointment only. Volunteers are still welcome during regular hours and your scheduled shifts. Please ring bell to be let in.
I'm sorry I can't help you on that I do not know I know some rescues you have kids helping out but I don't know nothing really about this one at all sorry I could not be of any assistance
You should call them. They allow some age of kids, as long as a parent is with them
