They do near DoD level wipes on media. Otherwise they would not have the proper permits, subsidies, etc to do what they do.
I don't work there but I do frequent their resells. Yes they wipe all data. You can request hdd destruction as well if need be but the items they resell are cleaned for protection and reuse.
