Monday is are open play day for 40K. We have 2 - 40K tables. Then we have boards that go on the rest of our 8' tables for 40K. If you have a specific table that you want, you probably should reserve it. You can just message me on FB. You always need to check to see if we have open tables on Fri.,Sat.and Sun. We have a lot of events scheduled and there may not be open tables available.
The AKW - Alaska Wargaming Facebook page is a good place to schedule games before arriving. If you go to Tier1 on a scheduled 40K day, you can pretty well count on having a table available. If you schedule a game with someone on an off day, ask Teir1 in advance if they can reserve a table for you. Otherwise you may meet up, and not have any available tables.
There is free play. But events are set up and days are set for 40k. There's a fairly big group that plays regularly. Should take a look at Tier 1 Facebook page. The owner post what's going on for the month.
