Depending on the approval if your insurance company, my first surgery was 2 weeks after my MRI. This time it will be about 2 months.
Many factors are involved once our surgeons review an MRI with a patient. Some patients will be directed to nonsurgical care because their situation may not be indicated for surgery. Some patients will need additional tests, perhaps Personalized Pain Mapping which involves diagnostic spinal injections to determine the pain generator. The answer of how much time depends on each individual condition, timing of appointments for further testing and personal discussion of a treatment plan with our surgeon and the patient.
