I walked to the counter and was the only one there with a group behind me. The cashier told me she will be with me in a minute for a drink and start waiting on the group behind me. Iā€™m black and the group is white. Was that a black and white thing?

Maybe it was an issue of concessions purchases vs ticket purchases. If only one person was behind counter, they may have had to do both and were instructed to prioritize one kind of purchase over the other. Could that have been your situation?

It could've been a priority thing...it's like that at my job...the counter guests are have priority of the drive thru guests...so if someone comes in the door and someone pulls up to the drive thru...I have to take care of the inside guests before the drive thru guest...let's not hope everything is a black and white thing? While it is possible...unless u felt completely ignored...or like the attendant was being rude when u were addressed....I'm pretty sure it's option #1
