Hi, I bought a 2018 Sonata last year, and it's been fine. But today, after not driving for several days, I pressed on the gas, pushed the ignition button, and nothing happened. It took maybe 3 minutes before starting. What should I do?

First why did you step on the gas before starting? It does not need. You must step on the brake for it to start that to start

Sounds like an issue, stop by the dealer and make an appointment to have it looked at.

The battery may be dead. Did you try jumping it? The weather has been kind of tricky lately and it may have drained the battery

I agree with what everyone has already stated. I'm hoping you meant you pressed on the brake pedal. It could be the battery but it's too soon for that to happen so definitely go get it checked out. There could be a bigger problem.
