Thank you for your question. For patients with insurance, the claim is sent to their carrier within 24-48 hours depending on the date of service. Once a claim processes and we receive the insurance carrier's response with patient liability (if any), a bill will then be sent to the patient. Typically, this is within 2-3 weeks (again, depending on carrier response time.) Self-pay patients should be paying at the time of service, but if there are additional services that were not collected when the patient was in the office, a bill will typically go out within a week.
