I only used the facility for less than 2 months. I did not experience this.
I was shocked, annoyed, and disgusted, but found out that I'm nowhere near the first one with this problem. The owners should be ashamed. I'm looking up where to report them right now.
I do realize they have to prepare the storage unit for presentation, but I strongly recommend that after you assume it notify them as soon you experience a problem. They will do their best to reasonably accommodate you. I had an issue with squirrels dut to being located near trees, so I moved. Nothing is full proof for rodents they have to be controlled.
