It's not that they don't want to hire people. Alot of people that lost their job due to the pandemic and are on unemployment are receiving more money staying at home verses going back to work and/or looking for another job. Hell if I got $700.00 (+) to do nothing weekly, plus get a stimulus check over and over on top of being unemployed. I'd do the same thing. Remember the hard working group of people that actually go to work now to pay for those checks are doing the best they can with the help that is given to them. It's not the grocery stores fault for not having workers, its that nobody is applying to work. Just showed this on the news here in Albuquerque 2 days ago. I know it's frustrating when you have to wait in line for a long time, ultimately it's everywhere you go that has open positions with no applicants.
Yes
El Super can't find people to work. People are getting$400-$600 per week on unemployment to stay home. They make more money staying home doing nothing than they do working. The whole city is having problems finding employees not just El Super.
The Super has always had the two cashier's probably because they don't get allot of business in the day
Its ashame that they making so much money. And don't want to hire people. So sad
