I live in the Nor Este neighborhood and spend all of my grocery shopping at this Smith's for years now. There are literally 3 cash taking SELF CASH REGISTERS and 8-10 SELF REGISTERS either non funtioning or NOT taking cash. The only reason Im checking out with a SELF CASH REGISTER is because no one is working the traditional cash registers while a girl is on her phone standing in the exit and an old woman apparently named Sheila. So when I finished checking out $80 worth of groceries, I realized Im in yet another NON CASH accepting register. Sheila was right next to me so I bring this to her attention. I ask why don't any of these registers take cash?? and there's no one else working the check out lines... Sheila procedes to yell at me and speak to me in a condescending attitude in front of my wife and daughter and other customers looking in shock. I told her to stop yelling at me which she reluctantly tones down her voice and directed me to a check out line. Talking under her breath the entire time. Then she hands me my change and proceeds to talk about us as we are walking away to a bagger. Not only will I never come back to this Smiths, but as long as Shiela works there I will advise my friends and family not to waste there money in such an unprofessional environment such as this store run by Sheila. The most disappointing experience to date in my favorite grocery store.

My husband went to this location on 5/31/22 for convince. Purchased 3 lbs of Boars Head Honey maple ham. Got home for me to instantly realize it was TURKEY! NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER. How on earth we were sold turkey instead of ham is beyond me! Everything I get the turkey out, I get angry. Whoever the counter person was that afternoon needs to listen better, ask if not sure, repeat the order to customer....something. If our order was wrong how many other orders were wrong that day? Doubt we go back for a long time if ever!

Hands down to this Smith chain store. Definitely should be leading the rest of the stores in customer service. Manager assisted me with getting my groceries out of the cart and placing them in the electric table to be scan by the cashier. The cashier Was very helpful and so was the cart attendant Connor who helped me with the heavy groceries bags and returned my cart back to the store. Products selection is great and I ended finding low carb tortillas that most stores don’t sell.

Incredibly polite staff. Kind in all aspects. If you need help finding something they have no hesitation helping you regardless of what task they are currently doing. The security makes themselves known and but are very polite as well. I can admire a store that cares about loss prevention because it keeps the consumers cost down by reducing loss by theft. The produce is always clean and fresh and the meat department is always presentable and clean. Yes I can save at Walmart down the street but the quality and customer care isn’t even close.
