You can bring a big 11 passenger van with 22 people stuffed in it if you wanted to and the only thing you would pay for is parking for the one car. Everybody gets to walk around and go into the museum for free. Nice place. You have a interesting mix of tanks and Gardens that you can walk around and see. Who would have ever thought that the two could go together. Makes it an entertaining day for anybody young or old.
Yes it is definitely free entry except for parking within the entire Cantigny Park complex. It is a lengthy walk from the Wheaton Metra train station, with no sidewalks for much of it.
Entrance its free you pay only for parking.
