Hi there, we like going to the park in large groups of 30-60 at times. My question is if we can bring our own grill to the park areas that there is none?.. For example Central Park & Matlock corner of Vandergriff Park where there open field??...

My family & I had an after party for my cousin's 15. We had well over 250+ people there at once & we wanted to have a cookout but we knew the grills there weren't big enough to feed everyone at once so my dad & uncle both brung their own smokers. 2 park attendants passed us, but never said anything to us. Another actually stopped by & asked how everything was going and jokingly asked if he could have some, but we said sure & he stayed with us for a little while, left & told us to have a good night, just to make sure we clean up after & not be too loud. This was a little over a month ago.

So far the Park Rangers have no problems with you bringing your own grills. Be sure to watch the open flames and keep children at a safe distance and bring fire extinguisher just in case.
