It really depends on what you see as a worthy gym. A lot of people are against Planet Fitness's all around access for the casual gym goer meaning that there are a lot of machines and that's pretty much bad joojoo if you're very serious about working out. HOWEVER people tend to also forget that you simply don't have to use the machines.. The only down side to that aspect is that they do not have a proper free weight barbell bench set up free of smith machines for proper and natural bench pressing/ Squat routines. If you're a beginner however planet fitness is a great way to start your daily routines the machines are good for something in that regard but once you find youre going up in weight on the machines you may want to step it up and get off those gains killers and do some proper lifting whether it's in their free weight area or at another gym entirely.. (PS We don't use the Machines and been going for 2 years) TLDR: All up to how serious you are.. :)
The only one in my area with a steam sauna and a jacuzzi with hydrotherapy vents and a pool. And it never gets crowded like the small area gyms. However, it is expensive.., try Planet Fitness for $12 month, no contract.
Great starter gym, with 24hr access.
