We have had our air conditioner serviced and we were to needed new duct work which I'm sure is true because our home is over 30 years old. Our unit is only 8 years old and our house is still hot. What would you do next?

After 30 yrs the insulation has surely settled quite a bit. Check the depth of yours. I had more blown in. As for the A/C ducting...have the guys at Goettl give it a look.
