We are downsizing and moving. Have a large quantity of books we want to sell or donate to an organization where they would be used. Does Alcuin buy used books and, if so, what is the criteria?

we are not sure when this was posted but generally speaking we recommend donating to the VNSA sale which is held every February. Of course, if you have very rare books, we do make offers though most large numbers of books do not have much of a market. If you call us, we will try to guide you though we are very selective in what we purchase.

They do buy books, but it's not a volume operation. They deal in the eclectic, so expect to only get offers on a few, unless they are really special.
