Bookstores are life for me. I own a small, indie bookstore in the Midwest, but before that I was a lover of bookstores! The Poisoned Pen has been on my radar for a long time, but I never had a chance to visit… until today! It’s beautiful, bright, smells like a bookstore, has ravens on the wall. The lady working, Karen, was not only insightful about books, but also about the industry. It’s great. It’s what a bookstore should be. Keep up the great work (so I can copy it, lol). Shop local, shop small, and eat your vegetables. Maybe call your mom too.
