Coming in from out of town for a show there this summer. Booked a hotel downtown about eight blocks away. After the show (~11pm?) is walking advisable or should we try to find a cab?

I always take an uber because I dont want to chance it.

They have peddlers that are pretty reasonable. That is if u don't want to walk. Make sure u don't have a tablet or knives or pepper spray with u they will take it from u and u won't be able to get it back the pepper spray or knife. The tablet will have to be taken back to ur place.

You can walk with no problem. There's a high police presence and citizens that look out for visitors. Enjoy your visit!

I would take any other option then walking. There can be some dark streets and corners.

Sometimes they have guys on pedal cabs sometimes it's easier just to catch an Uber but there's also always something else to do down there depending on what your interests are

Walking downtown near the venues is safe. I have walked around often at night without worries, and I'm a woman. If you don't care to walk, ubers are plentiful downtown.
