Cowboy Cabins and camp sites had fire pits. We used wood to cook but you could use charcoal.
I stayed in the Esperanza cabin at the Ponderosa Ranch, it had a nice deck that included a propane grill. I understand that each cabin is privately owned so it may be different from cabin to cabin.
Yes for bbq. Charcoal will be best
