This place absolutely is a dive, the rooms are ghetto discusting and if you're into sharing you're room with mice, then this place is for you.

Honestly for the location and the service. It wasnt the worst.. but I've been to better. They made an effort and really , that's all that really matters . My stay was quiet and I got much needed rest. I appriciate the staff for the forced smile anyway

The Alex is no *** or **** hotel but it was clean, the food from the small breakfast cafe, which also served lunch and dinner, was edible, and the free continental breakfast was excellent, when I was there last winter. The lunch and dinner were prepared meals that could be baked, microwaved, or deep fried. Nothing fancy but the meals were good for what they were. The Alex is in need of redecorating and a proper restaurant. I thought the management and staff were excellent and my bed was comfy although I wish I had brought my own pillows. It took all of the pillows from both beds to accomplish the comfort and support of my two pillows.
