You'll get more for your guitar if you sell it yourself. If G C buys it, you'd be lucky to get 1/4 of what it's worth, because they have to sell it as used.

Guitar Center will offer you a price based on what they can sell it for. Personally and somewhat recently, I've sold a student level classical at Guitar Center and received around $200 more than anticipated. Basically, if you want to sell your overproduced factory guitar, expect what it's worth, which usually isn't much as stores have a net price, or a reduced price for purchasing and selling the very same model.

You have to contact them by email. Fill out their form online. Then if their interested you'll take your gear to the store. Then if an agreement is made. They'll offer either cash, check, store credit or gift card.
