I am so sorry you had a bad experience! They are usually very accommodating and nice! I would call tomorrow and explain to a manager what happened just so it doesnt happen again.
I don't have a gluten allergy. I did talk to the manager on that shift. I did explain my allergy to dairy. At home we have Pizza Rev and they have no dairy in there crust and have no problem putting it on pan to keep dairy from getting on the pizza in the oven. My niece Madison has gluten allergies and they know her by name. They had no problem getting her pizza.
Perhaps they didnt understand what you were requesting. I order the gluten free crust and they make it on a tray for me and change their gloves. It does go in the oven normal but it's going on fire and I've never had an issue.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience, it sounds like perhaps you had someone new there. I do gluten free crust with dairy free cheese and they always use a sauce bottle that is kept away from the cheese, offer a glove change and to use a seperste tray for the pizza and ask for any special considerations when putting the pizza in the oven. I would maybe speak to the manager next time you go in as it sounds like they might need some more training.
