$7.50 person to get in and play all games except pinball which is a quarter per game.

As others have noted, there's an up-front cover fee, but I'd like to add that the price is very much worth it. I paid a lot more money in the year 1984 for the gaming experience at "1984" today -- even without adjusting for inflation. That's because most games are free once you get in, and the few premium games are still pretty cheap. Admittedly, the daily cover charge isn't good for people who want to play one game one time and then leave. Most people, however, will want to hang around for longer, so for them the cover-charge model is great because it makes everything simpler.

You can get in for free, but to play any video games, it's seven big bucks a frog.
