Ty, We do not try to mislead any of our products, we do not advertise that we make the cheese from the beginning stage. Right on our label it states we are a distributor with a private label. Our company is River Rat Cheese and we have all NYS Cheddars that we carry, age in our facilities, flavor ourselves, and sell to our local customers. We are simply a cheese company just like Sargento. Our cheese is all from NYS dairy farms and our cheese curd comes from Great Lakes Cheese in Adams, NY, also from milk in NYS. However, if you are in our store and see Swiss Cheese, Blue Cheeses, etc. those are imported cheeses. On the back of that cheese you will see the label in which they came from.
