Why do they only help Carbon,Pike and Monroe county residents,i was in crisis a few months ago and denied due to living in Wayne County and told there's nothing they could do to help me,very poor people skills and empathy towards people in crisis

I'm not sure about that but they are very good did you ever tried just calling their crisis line? You might have to look into Wayne County crisis lines. That's the best I can tell you. Good Luck.

So sorry Arthur...i struggle to make it through a toxic family. Its been years of feeling suicidal. I call crisis or new perspectives to Talk it thru....only problem is times no one answers....i think helpline must be 24 hrs....i have years of therapy with great people and have "techniques" i was learned to get thru an 8 hour shift that wasnt covered...the people are always very patient...please keep looking for a crisis line in wayne or call local government rep when you feel Stable...ask what to do when Unstable....they should have helped you on my opinion....and i would have listened to you and know Exactly how you feel....Stay strong .Each person matters...{{{Bear Hug}}}

Wayne Co does not have any inpatient/partial stay facilities at all,i wanted to check in and get help and the ignorant intake person was willing even after I said things that would have had me 302'd to let me go home but NO he didn't think I was a danger so
