I agree with contacting the museum in Clayton. But you also may want to contact historian that's associated with Boldt Castle. Also check with the historians of Alexandria Bay and Town Hall as the boat made and registered with them.

Wow! I tried to do some searching on the net for you but not one thing came up, sorry about that. I wish I could give you a better answer then email the museum but maybe you're going to have to or ask your family members for as much information as possible. But I'm sure you already thought of all this.
