Has anybody gotten a call from somebody starting they are a hearing administrator on a recorded line? I hung up because I didn't think this sounded legitimate I hope I didn't really hang up on a hearing administrator !

yes!!! once a day/sometimes more. Just for fun blow a whistle into the phone, then ask "did you hear that".

Hearing Administrators do call from a recorded line, it is likely you hung up on a very important person and could be causing a delay in processing your claim. However, if you're unsure if the call is legitimate and think it may be someone posing as a Hearing Administrator fraudulently - hang up and call either the 800 number or the the local office.
