Is it possible for me to adopt a raven?

SBF mainly deals with parrot species. Owning ravens, crows, or any native North American bird, is prohibited by law in the United States and Canada. However, some foreign species might be available from other breeders.

After posting this I read about the legal issue as well, but I also read that the legality of the issue can be solved if a permit to grant the legal right to possess such a creature can be obtained through the proper channels. Now I will look up who grants the permit and if any special conditions to be eligible exist. Thank you for your information. I am most grateful.
