The pods look to be equivalent in size to [them]. They also used heavy painting tarp underneath blankets and sports wagons. Ravinia also has tables for rent. The key is to get there early to set-up if you want to see the overhead screen. Otherwise, you can still enjoy the company your with and listen to the music. We were dancing in the rain with strangers-other audience members. I would check with them. I have seen teeny baby/pet sized tents but not regular ones, but I have not been there during heavy rain. Definitely bring a plastic tarp for the ground, since the damp is no fun. I even found nice classic plaid picnic blankets with a layer of plastic on the bottom.
I believe so. Personal/individual size should be ok. No tents or large canopys permitted. You might check with Ravinia directly though. Their general# is very useful. When i called earlier this month, a live staff member nicely assisted my concerns/questions to my satisfaction as it was my first time there.

U can bring small tents camping items that will block the view of others no tall tents with covers tops. But U can have chairs with the cover tops or clamp on umbrella's or poncho it will be cheaper to buy it before u come or you will pay 5.00 dollar for the poncho they have a single blanket for 30 dollars get there very early for the 1st parking lot , and if You need to leave fast , then leave fast long time getting out good luck wear comfortable shoes that You don't mind getting dirty what over head screen I guess I wasn't close enough
